Life- and Neurosciences
In my research, I try to understand the correlation between cell morphology, function and the underlaying molecular features. To link different features to morphology, deep learning and quantitative image analysis are used.
Vita
Nadine Flinner (*1986) studied bioinformatics and worked on the structure and phylogeny of membrane proteins during the diploma thesis. In here PhD, finished in 2015, she investigated the behaviour of membrane proteins using molecular dynamic simulations. Nadine started here PostDoc at FIAS investigating the migration of immune cells and is now interested in understanding the correlation between cell morphology and the underlaying molecular features. She turned FIAS Fellow in 2020.
