Prof. Dr. Hans Jürgen Lüdde, born 1952 in Frankfurt, studied physics and received his doctorate from the Goethe University in Frankfurt. After research stays in the USA and France, he returned to the Goethe University and habilitated in theoretical physics. He is a founding member of the Center for Scientific Computing, which he has headed for many years. His research interests include the influence of ionizing radiation on organic molecules.
